So getting back to the SPL you'll have spent £30m more than you took in - since there is no bank facility investors will have stumped up these costs, presumably with some long game to get the money back - yet no one (other than Craig Whyte) would stick £20m into buying original Rangers, who were Scottish Champions and looking at CL football that season? From a purely financial investment point of view it makes absolutely no sense to me, from an emotional football investors point of view why didn't these same people back the club before liquidation?
