    Thank God we got the truth from Pedro Mendes.
    I wouldn't like to think any Ranger supporter had done wrong.

    They really have taken it too far. All the fun is going to go out of Scottish football and as you say for mostly stuff that hasn't happened in the ground or on the pitch. A few fannies sending parcel bombs and media outcry has blown last season out of all proportion.

    I'm hoping that the **** rags in the UK have got the ****e scared out of them with the scandal just now and we might see some reasoned reporting. ****ing seriously doubt it though

    There is a "sectarian industry" in Scotland, which means people are making a living out of a problem which hardly exists. Who really thinks there is an issue with sectarianism in Scotland? There are problems with drugs, knife crime, poor health (you listening Salmond) , a deep-rooted parochial mindset, poor education, unemployment etc but not sectarianism. You might get the odd punch up over football but that happens all over the globe to much worse proportions than what we see in Scotland.

    The media, police and government will gnaw on this bone for as long as they can as its a money maker for them. They couldnt care less if it destroys our game or actually makes things worse which is more likely to be the case. I'd be willing to bet there will be more fights started stemming from people arguing over what is sectarian and what is not than there will be over football rivalry.

    I'm not blind enough to believe there aren't complete half heads attending football matches (Neil Lennon goes to one every week) but its hardly a national problem.

    Until we see the focus on football and football alone the game will continue to be dragged down the gutter with more and more supporters drifting from the sport. I've personally became less interested in football but that's probably down to my love for running and cycling, I'll always love Rangers and follow the team but football in general is run by wallopers and is probably the most unsporting game on the planet. It just so happens to be the best team game on the planet.

    A friendly defeat. What shall we do!

    Sadly we won't be facing as tough a side as any of those German teams until we get into the Champions league group stage.

    When was Celtic's last win in a European competion. Not qualifiers, CL or Europa proper?

    <doh>

    Cant believe celtc fans even have the brass neck to question our European form. Perhaps you should have a look at the co-efficient on Bert Kassies' site, then have a look in the mirror.

    I await the 'Bert Kassies is a bigot' claims.

    Lets return to the original article and what your best mate told you.
    Were you and your best mate in Manchester. Were you and he responsible for the worse damage in that city since the riots.
    Why if he was your best mate, why did you not go to the match with him.
    How could your best mate have access to such a vantage point that he could see the vast hordes of Rangers supporters and
    see exactly how well, or not so well, they behaved. Or as a Rangers fan he told you what he wanted to see, and what he
    knew you wanted to hear.
