True grit from Rangers and unfortunate to lose the late goal, from Aberdeen's first shot on target too.
Rangers deserved to win from that performance, but Morelos must learn not to be a stupid boy !!!

A comfortable win that takes Rangers to 3rd in the table. I do not see how McCrorie could be sent off as the 'last man' (on 31') when our goalkeeper, McGregor, was between the St Mirren striker and our goal. Another red card for review ?

The stream was stop-start throughout so I cannot give a 'match report'. Suffice to say Rangers are through on aggregate and McGregor saved a late penalty awarded to Maribor, to ensure another clean sheet. From the SSN live commentary at HT :

Rangers have been drawn against Ufa of Russia in the play-off round. The first leg will be held on August 23 with the second leg to be played on August 30.
The Russians beat Progres Niederkorn 4-3 on aggregate after scoring four minutes into added time to secure a 2-2 draw in the second leg.

There is doubt as to whether Rangers' home fixture will go ahead, as FC Ufa (Russia) are facing delays in getting their Visas to enter the UK. This could mean Ufa could not fulfill the fixture and thereby forfeit it. Steven Gerrard has said today that he wants Rangers to play Ufa so the best way to get around this bureaucratic block would be to postpone the home fixture to give Ufa time to get their Visas.

 

21/08/2018 : Update on Rangers v FC Ufa

FC Ufa have been granted their Visas after being 'fast-tracked' with the help of UEFA and the Russian Football Union ... tanks outside Passport Office ?!

 

22/08/2018 : Our match against Ufa will be shown Live on RTV worldwide, no UK/ROI restriction. It is pay per view at £7.49 for all except those with the Unlimited package, who get it free.
I will not be posting a stream link as I only use a stream when the UK/ROI restriction prevents me from watching Rangers live.
