They displayed tremendous loyalty to the old Rangers, taking 75% wage cuts to save other players and staff having their contracts ripped up. Rangers are dead now and the new company trying to take their place is not the one Naismith and Whittaker signed for. Rangers are dead. The players need to do what's best for their careers, not what's best for a new company that they have no emotional attachment to.

Highly unlikely but you never know. The only ones worth signing are McGregor and Naismith but they're both Rangers men and even under normal circumstances the storm that would hit them would be something to behold. Walking out on Rangers for free and signing for Celtic under these circumstances? Half the population of the West of Scotland would go into meltdown. Larkhall would probably explode, nuclear style sending a mushroom plume over the whole of the central belt!
Different thing altogether Medro. Celtic were never liquidated. If Morrisons were liquidated and Tesco bought over all their stores would you still refer to the stores as Morrisons? No.
Rangers haven't just changed name though, it's a stupid comparrison. If a team playing in blue at Ibrox emerges then after a few years people will probably just see it as the same although there is no gaurantee that any Rangers will be playing football next season.
The company behind the club has went under, just like Leeds and a number of other clubs. Do you honestly think there will be no football at Ibrox next season?
