Having seen them play in England, I would pick Rod Wallace and James Beattie over Egil Ostenstad all day long....nobody rate Steven Davis or is he a dirty word up there?

I've come up with a half decent Saints/Rangers XI

Kanchelskis. Davis. Spackman, McCann
Ostenstad, Beattie, Wallace
Spackman and Graham Roberts are a bit tenuous but both were born in Southampton (Roberts lived just around the corner from me) and I think played for Saints Youth team.

I selected Davis for my team and I think Aldo did too. We got a fee for Davis from your club. Davis is welcome here anytime as are Southampton fans.
Hately played some games with QPR in the premiership that was why I selected him. Same with Mojo at Everton. I think my line up has the best strike force

I'll give you that Aldo everyone else forgot about Durie. He was a cracking player.
I actually looked up wikipedia for Gary Stevens MD to see if he played in the EPL after he left us. I ended up putting Gough at right back as he was pretty good there early in his career. Some of my guys only got a handful of EPL games when they left the club; Goram, Hately, Johnston and McCall.
