No, somebody found out where he works, no doubt from his IP, and contacted his works security department <doh>

I checked his IP and it tells you who he works for.

You would have to be the biggest bawsack in Scotland to go to all that bother, just because someone winds you up.

Girvan WAS the biggest bawsack in Scotland, and i've only been on here a month or 2.

Although, contacting his work? Pretty ****ing sad.

That's sad as ****...

Girvan was a **** of a poster (some of it funny and some of it out of order) and he always managed to hook a few for an arguememnt.

This is the internet - why get wound up so much that you start interferring in real life!

I take it it is only moderators that can see IP addresses? If so, surely that narrows it down a bit who it was and I'm betting it wasn't you ML.
 
That's bang out of order, it's the internet ffs. If you can't take some over the top bullshit you should be on Ja606. If it's true that only the Mod can see the ip then it couldn't really be that hard to find out who it was. And then ban him. Load of bollocks, let's all be nice to each other on an internet forum or I'm telling your Mammy <doh>

I find it hard to have any sympathy with him whatsoever to be brutally honest.

He was quite happy to post people's personal details without regard to the potential consequences and obviously someone thought that what's sauce for the Goose is sauce for the Gander.
