**** I miss footy atm although I appreciate there is other things so much more important going on in the World it's nice to have a distraction sometimes. I'll start with the fixture that would've been played this coming Saturday, this was at a time when Claude Puel was starting to get something going here and we were looking pretty decent...
I'm gonna go for Wigan in the cup. Marky Marky Hughes Cracking away day, long and 'interesting' trip up North given the blanket of snow that covered most of England, but not Wigan funnily enough. Proper scrappy cup tie in ****e conditions but a great win and real buzz about people after Pellegrino had gone.
Poor old Marco Gabbiadini was doing his best impression of a signed Marek Saganowski. Both went from the status of couldn't miss to couldn't hit with not an inkling that it was all going to change.
Missed this at the time, there are some real crackers in this rundown that I had long forgotten about..

Here's a nice little nostalgic video for the older fans that dates back to the start of my Saints supporting days. Some thing never change though as Saints throw away a 2 goal lead in the last 3 minutes!. The third Saints goal was a typical one of the time with Mick Channon feeding Terry Paine who crossed for Big Ron Davies to nod home...
What a lovely humble man he was, love him talking about the '76 cup final, once a Saint always a Saint.... R.I.P. Ron...
