He was a different class on his good days, but sadly had more bad days than good with us.
He was a quality player when he was at Real Madrid, couldn't believe we'd signed him. He struggled like hell with the English game though, and made nowhere near the impact I thought he would - give me Faurlin any day of the week over him

Certainly true....but will say although he struggled with the game in this country....he did actually try, unlike a few others we could mention
So will not say a bad word against him, he just was not the player we needed at that time. A different recruitment team would not have gone for him. So our fault not his
