I’ve got no idea who is who but we’ve been quite good since the subs. If he’s the thin kid with short hair then yes.
Yeah I asked my mate who that was on the left. Perhaps they weren’t trying too hard to keep Willock with Kolli and him coming through. Decent game overall.
2-0 ! 1st touch for Scarlett after coming on for them. Only a friendly but shows how short of goals this squad is if you remove a few. We need to find some wingers and attacking mids sharpish !
Enjoyed that. We seem to have decent squad. Obviously undercooked at this stage but I reckon Cifuentes will be happier than Ange. Alfie Lloyd looks like a better Sinclair Armstrong. He can trap the ball and shoot!
I thought both Alfie Lloyd and Alfie Tuck looked good when they came on. Nardi in goal seems like an upgrade on Begovic. Spurs were fortunate with their second goal after a quick breakaway after a long spell of Rangers dominance in which we should've scored. Dykes should have put one of his chances away after missing an open goal and hitting the post with a header. We need to work on our set pieces, we had 16 corners and I can't remember us creating a chance from any of them, although I stand to be corrected as I was dipping in and out of the game.
My wife, a Spurs fan, came to the game today and said at the end that she thought that Rangers played really well. 'A bit patronising', I said. 'No', she said, 'You wouldn't have known they weren't in the same division'. A football connoisseur.
Highlights from today... We didn't look out of place against them....Lloyd looks a handful and the keeper is a definate upgrade
Mmm, so both out injured, not great. Neither sound too serious but we are gonna need them back for the start of the season. 2 very important players for us
