I know Strolls is a rising fan of Marti, he certainly fills most of us with optimism. What has been good is the few comments that trickle out about him (Marti that is, not Strolls :emoticon-0100-smile ). I remember Sints commenting on how he had been watching Marti and said he was hugely impressed by him and how he was one of the best coaches he’d seen. Then some interesting comments from JCS ( https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/jake-clarke-salter-qpr-future-marti-cifuentes-leaving-chelsea/ ).

One of the presents I got for my birthday at the weekend was 'Queens Park Rangers, a Newspaper History' which is really good. One snippet from April 1948 particularly intrigued me, though....

CLUB BUY GROUND, HOUSES
Queens Park Rangers have bought the freehold of their ground and the land of thirty-nine houses nearby. The object is to build a vast stadium with stands on all sides, but the houses won't be pulled down.

A bit like the Old Oak plans, then.

Belated Happy Birthday, Strolls.
