Ah memories, loved that old place (before the rebuild) despite all it's faults compared to modern day football. Top left, not seen that picture before, so a new one to me. Top right, the old Gordon Road Stand (GRS) built by the dockyard I believe, in the days of wooden timbers, but it had to be demolished after the Bradford fire. I use to call it the shut up and sit down brigade in that section. you use to be able to walk from one end of the ground to the other behind that stand, before the days of football violence at it's worst. Still top right, you can see the old cover of one of the corners of the Rainham End as it was in them days, the only bit that had any real shelter from the rain. Bottom right the old Town End now called the Brian Moore Stand (BMS) - today is a disgrace to the good old terrace there, the only bit that took a turn for the worse after the collapse of Ondigital/ITV digital. That's where I use to stand directly behind the goal, it's only for away fans now, but it still holds nostalgia for many fans my age. It did get lively at times though, especially if we were playing Wall, Palace or Brighton back in them days lol That's the old Medway Stand it looks onto on the left, now completely gone, well the whole lot is gone from the rebuild, I did sit in the MS once, some guy I knew got me a free ticket in there...then later in life after the rebuild I became a STHolder in that section. Bottom left at first looked before my time, but now on closer inspection, I suspect it's not.
