I'd seen a clip only a few seconds of one, so went looking on youtube for a longer version. Have to be careful because of AI now, but I believe that it is a real thing for base jumpers. I was hoping they would show a bit more once the chute went up, but clearly the camera mount never captured it, although don't know what happened to the drone that was above.I suppose it's the same as the wing suits was my conclusion, looked like it was strapped to the ankles. I'd love to be able to do all this ****, really would, but can't for two reasons, one my back is fooked (discs), and second I aint got the balls lol.
