I've seen similar videos to this where foxes are attacking people in the street because they've got rabbies. Always seems to happen in America.
In the UK your chances of catching it are infinitesimally small, although I always try and avoid being bitten by someone who has just been on holiday. Its thought of as fatal but they have about 100000 cases a year here with 100 people dying from it each year. Good thing is they are used to treating it so everywhere carries the injections you need, as the earlier you treat it more chance you have of surviving. Its like a snakebite though - you should always kill the animal after its bitten you and take it with you to the doctors so that they can test it.
