    Robbie Keane walked into me in B,ham Intl in Feb. Was having an arguement with his missus at the time so wasnt looking where he was going.

    Bad crack that like, I always had the impression that Given was a good bloke, I really hate the line, "do you know who iam?" like they have some god given right to do whatever the **** they like because they earn 50x a normal persons wage.

    When I was working in Liverpool a few years ago I was in the WH Smith next to our hotel and I saw Roy Evans. I was wearing my Newcastle top and when I acknowledged him he laughed, I reckon in a 4-3 kind of a way.

    Heard of other players saying the self same thing, didn't think Shay would have said that kind of thing though.

    Was probably pissed off things at the time, still no excuse. If I remember rightly a few years ago Asprilla had a go at my cousin and said that, she was working in a restaurant at the time.

    Met Nolan in Starbucks just over a year ago. Was out on a date with a girl and to be honest the biggest smile I had on my face was when Nolan came in. Some girl she must have been eh :laugh: had a chat with him, put my delluded hat on and started wittering on about us making a push for Europe etc. The girl I was with took a photo of us but then her phone broke soon after and lost it!! Still, he left after that season so I don't really care anymore :laugh:

    He isn't a football fan and I am not sure if I believe him but my friend said he saw Cisse on the Metro the other day. There you go guys, there is my amazing anecdote of the day - don't enjoy it too much!

    Back in the summer of 95 i was at sjp club shop buying the new shirt when beardsley was stood behind me,got a photo and an autograph then when i walked out the entire squad were waiting to get on a coach for a pre season friendly up against hearts. got photos with the likes of ginola,ferdinand keegan etc as a 15 yr old i was amazed by it and still look back on the photos great memories
