All you points are fair Aussie and I can see why you think them. I think the general opinion is that its going to be tight. As for me I've had a season ticket for 11 years now. Unfortunately, I've been shipped out down to Exeter for uni for the last three meaning that I only get the games at the start of the season, Christmas and Easter plus when I come home (e.g for the Swans game) or the odd away trip. Instead I get to watch L2 football with quaint little Exeter City and the other rubbish down there. How long have you been supporting the Swans KJ?
Agreed blue, but my point is that as the home team, surely you need to make it a hostile environment for superior teams. We did for Ramsey but he still scored. Quality is quality. But making them comfortable is just asking for trouble imo.
Wasn't implying anything. Just asking a question, Welshman. I know how some find it difficult to get to games. You just graduated from the Sparkey School of Taking Umbrage? Maybe you shouldn't have 'Cardiff' as your location then Blue. Just a thought. Oh and in answer to your question: 1967.
Remember when we use to play like Arsenal. It was not that long ago and we were not saying then "how many will man city score" It would be that we can get a result there. Ramsey has really matured into a great player and has to be one to consider for player of the season so far this season and i loved the way he showed respect to the cardiff fans after his goals....good on him...
And we try for all games. Sure we struggle to recapture that Ninian Park feeling but we are well aware that if we are going to stay up it will be down to our home form and we have to try and help the team in anyway possible. Expectancy is poisonous and that is all to evident at Spurs these days. However, I would not boo Ramsey. Or Giggs for that matter. I'am proud of what Ramsey has become and that my club were part of creating the finest player in the Premier League (currently). I would find it sad if in your deepest of heart people would slant one of their own provided his intentions were good. Ramsey's attitude was good unlike Gunters.... Would you boo Joe Allen on his return? It's a similar story. But don't worry if Alan Tate ever sets foot inside the CCS again....
its called respect I think ....and both the Cardiff fans and the welsh wonder showed how 2display it .......... ps a quality team is this gunners lot, I really hope they go on and win the title uzi mellow down for god sake <wink>...... u sound groovy for some reason....don't be so bitter its only a game.
Sorry but I think you are both missing the point here. I never mentioned booing once. What I said is making your stadium a hostile place to play. You made it comfortable for arsenal by appluading one of the players before and during your game. Then quite frankly they embarrassed you. As much as I admire joe Allen, I would MUCH prefer a swans win than a comfortable joe Allen performance and a comfortable Liverpool performance. My club always comes first. I'd gladly make joe Allen feel intimidated by our crowd, make him play terrible, then show respect and applaud him after the match. Doing it before imo is just foolish.
fk me we cant win>>>>we make it hostile and we get the tag scum.....we make it friendly and we are given a dressing down for being nice and welcoming>>>>>>>........swans-m......shame on you for giving one of your own a hard time for playing against you ....I`d say grow up and keep them boo`s for the cheating scum you have in your squad. as for embarrassing us>>>>>>>....pull that head out of your ass matey........we got beat by the best team in this league and I was happy for Rambo 2 get the ovation he got.>>>>>>>never forget your welsh .
