I will be the first to admit that it was a hasty post in the heat of the moment. The last two games he has been something special. And we are now going to see that ability shine through!
He is a special player and he will have a lot more great games than **** games. Part of me still can't believe we signed him!
Agree with this. I think he is not fully recovered from his injury and is just a bit rusty. That will change over the next few weeks and he will become a very important integral part of the team which will probably only be rely appreciated when he is not playing and his contribution is missed
At the moment, I think Adam's the only one on his wavelength. Consequently, his own games improved massively now he's got someone else who reads the game as well as he does. When the rest of the team get used to playing with Ramirez, we'll see some magic I reckon.
Agreed some of the passes and stuff Ramirez does make the other Saints players not on the same wave length. Just imagine when they are it'll be even better.
We've seen flashes like Clyne's goal v villa - great run and great pass by Gaston. If players can do that constantly it will be fantastic to watch.
He and Lallana work nicely together, Lallana and Punch work nicely together, Lallana and Lambert work nicely together. Rickie and Gaston are starting to get something going too. I still feel both Ramirez and Puncheon sometimes are guilty of getting caught looking at their feet and not at their options, both of them missed opportunities to slide others into good positions and have done many times this season. Adam's finishing isn't quite as you'd expect either, other than the great effort against West Ham. And both Ramirez and Lallana have been guilty of going down a touch easy which I just don't like to see. I'm not trying to downplay them, if anything, this just shows they can get even better!
