Mixed game for me. Helped keep their midfield very quite and a nice couple of breaks from midfield. But as you say, passing was off again.
Worst player in blue last night. He does do the occasional barnstorming run, but not a great tackler, and his passing nothing short of abysmal. Ideal partnership would be Luiz/Lampard + Matic axis.
Agreed his distribution was dreadful as usual. As a destroyer he stopped Wesley.
Very harsh to say he is having a shocking season. An average one, yes
Anyone can have a run of poor form and Ramires is doing just that. What worries me though is that his passing is so bad and not improving, not a good trait for a midfielder. Maybe when we really do sort our midfield there will be a defined roll for him, and he can settle into a pattern of play. This season he's been all over the shop.Most of his yellows are not for mistimed tackles, but just plain nasty vindictive ones, not always brutal , but just dumb. Jose must cut that out of his game
His fouling is dreadful, he'll give away a free kick that costs us a cup final or knock out tie soon!!!
