I saw somewhere, possibly here, that a 50% hit ratio on transfers is good based on how most teams do. We probably have that over the last few years. We do have some decent players but the lack of confidence in the whole group is our main issue

Fair Enough, losing Romeu has been a big blow, but if you go with the fair narrative that we could do nothing to stop him going back to Spain then the squad they inherited had just two players capable of performing consistently well in the PL.

Then I would say a group of players who put in a decent shift or had potential in

Livramento, Bednarek, Salisu, Perraud, S.Armstrong & Adams

I’m being generous with some of those players too.
We didn’t have 11 players good enough, let alone a squad
