Enthusiasm for the new project, yeah. I reckon he's waiting to see if he'll have to sell his best players. And it obviously also depends what other offers are open to him. The love affair/marriage analogy only really works for supporters. I don't really expect loyalty if our ambition doesn't match his, and I don't think he'll stay for the love of a club in a (to him) foreign city with a funny name. Although Southampton is a very attractive town in one of the nicest spots in England, so who knows.

That doesn't say your comment was aimed at me. Let's recap: He said what I was saying was black and white and he was saying there can be a grey area. You said everything is black and white here. I said there are shades of grey (in what I was saying) if one is able to perceive them, implying that FLT is not. If we have crossed wires then I apologise for my part in that, but as far as I'm concerned the misunderstanding has been cleared up and that's the end of it.
