No, thats not right. If someone chooses not to do something that everyone else is doing I don't think automatically think they must not agree. Some people don't like to be told they have to do something. It's like the ice bucket challenge. Same thing. If you choose not to do it people said 'oh don't you agree with it, it's for charity, you're just mean, it's really fun, yada yada yada'.
What other reasons can you think of that a footballer may cite as justification for not wearing the laces? Aside from religion which we'll have to skirt around (and which, in any case, is simply another way of saying they don't support the campaign).
Exactly the way of thinking that needs education and raising of awareness. Im not calling you homophobic by the way, but this 'banter' can cause a spiral into depressin and suicidal tendancies
I know certain sportsmen have come out of the closet but have we had any not606 posters follow suit yet?
I, bi though and much prefare women now but I cant deny my past, and I'm not ashamed of it No regrets, just life experiences
Well done mate, very brave. I tried a couple of times to get our lass to go bi with a couple of her corking mates, each time I got a slap.
Really surprised Stuey/EGD hasn't posted here. There was nothing more ridiculous than seeing him screeching on about "anal dribbling" and "diseased semen" when he was in his homophobic pomp on CI.
No religion, no politics, them's the rules. You can pop back to CI if you want to discuss them, or on here there's a General Chat forum.
