    Too young to have seen him play but my father did. Someone mentioned John Charles. My dad said that when they played against each other at Boothferry Park he saw the two finest players he ever saw on the pitch at the same time. Raich was the only player to win the FA Cup before and after World War 2.
    He was once getting a bit of stick from someone so he walked over at a throw in and gave the ball to the barracker, sat down and told him to go on and show how it should be done.

    Charles Stokell you have it absolutely correct. I couldn't have said it better myself. And in fact didn't. He was a legend in the true sense of the word and not the weak, watered down version we use today.
