I think that's harsh. I know a boy who plays for Wycombe and he said that to a man in that youth team all the players would leave for a lucrative contract at a big club. A lot of young players come from families who aren't well off and so a chance to secure their families finances rather than playing first team football is too good an opportunity to turn down. Also apparently the kid stuff is bullshit. Im pretty sure he's tweeted such as well.
