I disagree that Hernandez has pace. That's why he relies on very clever passing because he hasn't got the real pace to beat a man. Dyer has got pace - but we rarely see him use it these days. Lamah has pace (in fact he looks more like a runner!) but until Sunday he hasn't really looked like a footballer. Routledge has great pace over a short distance. Sterling can run from box to box at pace - could the rest of our team keep up with him!!?

Pablo doesn't really need pace because he can turn two defenders up their own backsides at the same time.

Sterling is a great player with pace and skill. But BUY him, no loan IMO cos we should'nt be developing players of the opponents.

Why not get him on loan this season and try and buy him for next season, would be good for our team young and got pace would do well with us.

Very promising young player that probably Liverpool don't want to sell.

He is also a gamble . I know all signings are but he will go for big money if sold with no promise of potential being filled .

I think about the lad that went to QPR from Blackburn, winger bit like Raheem , it says it all that I can't remember his name !

We can swallow anything up to 5m quid but higher than that is a lot for an unproven young player. Liverpool wouldn't want to sell anyway I'd have thought .

yes thats the guy vetch , he dissapeared out of sight very fast ! he was the next big thing and as far as im aware he has done nothing for about 2yrs !

British young players are way over priced, shelvey was overpriced but in fairness he was at the more realistic scale of the price range .

If you have a look at some of the Liverpool blogs/boards some are saying he is a bit big time charlie and some think he would struggle to get game time here, though most agree it would be of benifit to everyone if he came here instead of sitting on the bench .

Im not too fussed either way, if we are to loan anybody id rather an experienced prem player myself :)
