You wouldn't be doing us a favour if you took Sterling on loan, we'd still have to pay around 70% of his wages while played for you.

    So we'd be doing you a favour.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Is it Brendan to the rescue??? We have a very good squad of players already it's a manager we don't have. If we could swap laudrup for brendan then that would do the trick...

Lads Rodgers has moved on...get over it. What cup did you win? You hit the ****ing jackpot mate that's what cup you won <ok>

Was he good for Swansea? Yes quite simply he was. Is Laudrup a great replacement? Of course he is. Top bloke with a great style of play and great contacts around Europe. Instead of being a whiny bitch all the time use your brain for once. You did well out of the deal it seems and so did Liverpool it seems (apart from paying 3 times what JAllen is really worth).

Appreciate how you got to where you are. You have had a succession of great appointments who have taken your club forward and Laudrup will continue that. Rodgers was a part too, maybe only a small part relative to others but a pretty important part you can't deny. It isn't easy getting out of the championship and plenty who have managed it have gone straight back down. He constantly speaks highly of his time there, the club and the fans.

You might not like Rodgers leaving but ML will do the same one day too. You might not like that Rodgers came back in for Swansea players but at the end of the day you got by far the better of the Allen deal. He came into a club that was still struggling with new owners, owners who hadn't got their collective heads around running a football club and he was bound to look for a bit of familiarity to counter that.

Be nice to R Brenda lads :)

As for Sterling I can't see him going on loan but I think he needs to. He just isn't fulfilling his promise, he hasn't learned to harness his best talents and he's been way too predictable and easy to read although in his defence he hasn't played regularly enough to pass a totally fair judgement. The one long run of games he got ended up in a real drop of form which I always think is a bad sign for a young player.

    Was acquitted, whatever it was.

I agree with Billy to be honest. Rodgers was great for us and his signing of Sinclair was the key factor in our promotion imo.

But coming back in for Allen was against the spirit of the deal that was struck even if it was perfectly legal and most fans were understandably pissed off with that. Me too. But time to move on. We're a better club now and we've gone from strength to strength. Why some would want Allen back when we've got better players now I really don't know. If he's not good enough for the Reds why should we have him back? Not for me. Some criticise our midfield for being too lightweight but Allen is even moreso.

I keep saying the same thing but people don't seem to listen.

Everybody at the fans, fans included wished brenden all the best,Liverpool is a massive club and no way on earth was he ever going to pass it up,we all understood that perfectly.

He blotted his copybook by saying he wasn't going to sign our players then did the opposite,he didn't really need to do that IMO .

We got fantastic money in the deals that took them to Liverpool, the dust has settled and I think most are now quite happy to see brenden doing well, I think he knows he let our chairman down with a few things but not the move itself, I see brenden forever being indebted to the swans and that can help our club in the long term.

It's actually in our own interests to see Liverpool do well, there has always been a strong relationship between the two clubs and as the dust settles I see this warmth return.

We have to feel slightly proud of what Rodgers and Martinez have done since cutting their teeth with us swans, they would be nothing without us and I think they both know this.

I have a lot more time for Rodgers than I do Bobby, who has proven to be a back stabbing cnut of the highest order, I still however think they did great things for us though,as we did for them .

If Liverpool want to pay a top players wages and send him on loan to us that has to be good for both teams in the short term and long term .

I not fussed on sterling though,I think he is a one trick pony with a big time Charlie attitude, just my view ;)

One thing that Sterling has got that is currently missing in our team - pace.

Hernandez, Lamah, Routledge and Dyer have all got bags of pace though Sterling is younger and quicker imo.

It is proberly Dyer who looks most like Sterling in the way he play.

Sterling as player would fit the Swansea system perfect.
