Raging Bull

There's a film called "Cop" based on a James Ellroy novel that he's in. It's the most 80's cop film I've ever seen and no bad considering the book it's based on is a bit of a mess.

 

Aye that **** also starred in some ****e films with Al Pacino.

 

Never read any Ellroy. Considered it a couple of times but for some reason decided against.

 

The young Pacino was a fine actor. Now he's just a shouty cariacture.

 

Can't abide Al Cappucino, plays the same role in every film he is in.

James Woods on the other hand, cracking actor.

 

American Tabloid is the finest piece of crime literature I've ever read.

 

I'll add it tae my list of to do's.
