    Line up -

    --------------------Mitro---------------------
    -Wijnaldum-----Sissoko-----Townsend--
    -----------Colback----Tiote--------------
    Dummett--Mbemba-Lascelles--Anita
    --------------------Darlow------------------

    Message to Benitez -

You're a tank, but please take off Cisse. He has nothing to offer over Mitrovic really. Mitro is more of a goal threat, he can hold the ball up, he can link up play well and is far more passionate than Cisse and wants it more.

I'd start Wijnaldum because I believe his runs could do Villa defence quite a bit of harm, despite him being off form. He has come close a few times recently, and could do a job on the Vile.

I know you're doing well last few weeks and Villa are pants... but putting Mitro in goal might be pushing it a bit too far.

I think this game will be a lot tougher than it should be. I'd go with the team above as Mitro just seems to have more presence on the pitch and gets in defenders' faces. Hopefully we'll get the points and Sunderland and Norwich lose against strong opposition. I'll go for a tight 2-1 win.

To be honest, if you can't beat Villa then you deserve to go down <ok>

A lot of pressure on a win here. I won't pray for multiple goals, because I don't think Rafa will set up for that. A 1-0 will make it interesting. God I hope Sunderland get spanked by someone though.

    Our objectives this weekend:

    1. Beat Villa
    2. ****ing make sure we beat Villa
    3. Try and get a couple of early goals
    4. Beat Villa
    5. If we can get a third with a fair bit of time to go then go for the jugular, wipe their ****ty, vile faces deep in the **** they are in and try and get that goal difference down
    6. Above all else just ****ing beat the vile bastards.
    7. At the end of the day I'll take a flukey offside deflection in the 97th minute for a 1-0 win as long as we do win!
    8. Beat Villa

I'd argue less pressure than the home matches with Swansea and Palace. I already said what Biscan did, and it's right - failure to beat this Villa side who are in utter disarray and couldn't give less of a fck would deserve relegation. Still, not expecting it to be easy, but I still don't think we're among the 6 worst sides in the division, let alone bottom 3, which is why I think 2 more wins is possible.

I do wish Sunderland's luck would run out. Fat Sham is owed some bad karma and with our owner now saving BHS, surely he's repenting enough.....

I also think Sky are owed something. I'd love the bottom 3 (exclusing NUFC) and the Champions (Leicester please) to be decided before the last day, just to sh!t on any big "ooooh, look at how exciting our league is" posturing by Sky and their many tosspotty pundits.

So Newcastle to beat Villa, Sunderland to lose against both Chelsea & Everton & Norwich to lose against United & Watford.. before the final week?

    Not impossible..

You'll need to forgive me, but I will probably be an Everton fan for 9 days soon. It's possible (depending on other results) that within 9 days Everton could:

    1. Crown Leicester champions by losing next Saturday
2, Relegate Sunderland by beating them the following Wednesday
    3. Relegate Norwich by beating them on the Sunday

Not a fan of them for the 1st part then.

It's ok, I was a United fan today, but the ****s cost me £30 in my accumulator by not winning.... that last minute penalty decision was a joke <grr>

Better odds than 5000/1, I reckon!! I think with City getting tanked that ManU will be all over Norwich next week, that was a great result for us. Chelsea win would be brilliant tomorrow, get their tails up and put some extra fear in the mackems. That round of results alone could seal fate. Won't happen mind!!

Id stick with Cissé. Honestly, since Cissé came back into the side we've been doing better. Hard to pinpoint what Cissé exactly does to make us better since he looks pretty darn awful with his flicks but it seems to be working.

There's a fair chance that if we beat Villa it will all be over before the last day of the season.

Everton and Watford will decide the relegation race. It's out of our hands mathematically.

I can't decide who has the best chance of staying up on paper. If the teams were dead even in terms of quality I don't know whether I would want the 3 games we have and be 1 point behind or have 2 games left and be 1 points ahead. It's so so close. I think the only difference is that you guys have some real momentum at the moment and I think that will make the difference. I thought we had turned the corner against Norwich but we played quite nervously against Stoke. Aggghhhhhh I just want it over either way!!!!!

I would rather be in Sunderland's situation, it's in their own hands, whereas Newcastle rely on both Norwich and Sunderland wasting their game in hand.

We think it's between ourselves, but the more I see "Norwich vs Man Utd", the more I see them being the ones to escape this.
