Howe is a classic case of English manager trained by the FA school of coaching. He's in a long line of coaches from the same background.

Neah. The line going out will be that Everton are an absolute mess and the owner doesn't know what they are doing.

Rafa had quite a few offers in the summer before he went to Everton. He will still have options now, even if Howe wasn't fired. There will always be a club looking for a manager and Rafas CV holds up amongst the best of them.

He will simply say, I had 3 million to spend in the summer, FFP constraints which forced me to sell our high earning players, half the squad was injured, in a downward trajectory from Ancelotti last half of the season, fans on my back, death threats etc etc. Couldn't get the players in I wanted blah blah blah. He will get a bye.

Last time this happened was at Inter to a lesser degree, he went to Chelsea, won the Europa League and then went to Napoli. Heck he left Real Madrid and apparently asked to manage us.

Admittedly right now we're probably his only option in the Premier league right now. Until the next manager merry go round. I wouldn't be shocked to see him go to Italy or France.

Agreed, can't stand switching managers frequently. Let them bed in and build the team to suit the style of play they want. See Arteta as an example
