LOVE this dona. completely agree! well summed up mate.

Completely agree about VDV too. He's the only world class player we've attracted to the club in quite a few years, and i also agree that people are quick to forget that. He oozes class and you can bet that his ability has a huge affect on younger players each day on the training ground. Some things go unnoticed from day to day, but the impact he's made overall has been top notch. <ok>

As far as player loyalty goes, we must allow for journo dirty tricks. Our players take interviews for various media exercises a lot, someone used Bale hinting at an exit, lets put a more likely spin on that. Bale was asked the question, in amongst many others pre Hodgson, therefore still uncertain. That question then gets focused on for a story completely out of context in the conversation. Bale celebrates his goals with that heart thing and points to the fans, and doesn't look like a wantaway player to me, I think he's a genuine level headed lad, and to further his developement at this stage of his career, the CL is vital for him next season. He must consider it carefully though, would he be first choice at the Spanish 2? RM...err! Ronaldo operates where Bale plays! Barca? get a place in that MF??? his 1-2's don't come off much, he wouldn't fit into the accuracy of their little passing clique imo. If we don't get CL, I think Bale will turn out next season for us encouraged perhaps by VdV and Walker's intent, lots of key players will be here still. I don't share the same optimism over Ade and Luka, but thats digressing.
