I refer you to your 63,000,000 post long warm glow thread. Massive job to get it right, I can’t see who can better Rafa, I really can’t. He’s earned my respect in the circumstances, nobody could have done a more solid job with the constraints. Still don’t rate him as such but he was a great fit.
My sentiments entirely. He got the best out of the layers he had, and instilled a great work ethnic in them. He maintained his dignity when getting **** decisions from Ashley. Saying that, some of his buys have been poor, while he has signed s few crackers. Be a worse club without him, but all is not lost. Hopefully the club will be sold soon, or is it just one of Ashley’s big chuns?
It could be a sign to either. There was talk the new owners wouldn’t want him, but there’s also the school of thought Ashley is staying and thought ‘**** this twat, I can sell Almiron for immediate profit’. Time will tell.
Already talk of Almiron going which would be a shame. No goals or assists yet, but he makes the team tick and we looked a totally different team when he joined. Good time for you lot, you’ve got a bit to laugh at atm. We need to get shot of Ashley, the bloke is a poisoned vermin.
Rafa Benitez was informed of his Newcastle exit by a FRIEND while at his Wirral home as club did not contact him before releasing statement Rafa Benitez will officially leave his post as Newcastle manager on Sunday The Spaniard failed to agree a new contract with the club's owner Mike Ashley Ashley made his decision following a heated email exchange between the pair Benitez had not been expecting Ashley to issue a statement on Monday
We already know its a fight we won't win mate. That squad of players is mostly Championship level and chances are that Rafa left because he was getting less money than he thought he needed. His replacement will get less.
But that's perfect for Moyes when he leaves or gets sacked he can just say he didn't do his due diligence on the club.
Twitter is still amazing in the wake of the most recent managerial messiah leaving. Some of them are now saying that they're cancelling their Sky subscriptions in protest at Ashley letting Rafa leave. I'm not sure how that works. But as well as that, it looks like the Sheikh-over is going to come to nothing too. This could be comedy gold for weeks as they continue the meltdown!
