We seem to be fumbling in the dark on the transfer front. Sometimes you hit the jackpot but you're better off with a bit of dim lighting so you can slam the big fella home.

Bad news is we've missed out on top target Joleon Lescott, he has signed for the Mackems. Personally I'm absolutely gutted we've missed out on him. After witnessing how good he still was last season in helping Villa, I think we've really missed a trick here. He has a proven record of commitment to the cause.
