Good luck to Rafa, will never get the credit he deserve's from the English press. Kept the club together whilst H&G raped it.

The England job has been a poisoned chalice since 1966. Idiot journos talk up the new manager, he does well for a bit, then things go wrong and they slate him. Trouble is too many people believe what they read.

I wish I could write Hodgson out of Liverpool's history aswell, sadly the traumatic experiences suffered under him will be with me forever.

Conveniently forgot to mention his time at Wolfsburg, eh!?

No but does Inter make Rafa a bad manager? It was convenient for the Rafa-haters, though, eh? I did mention Wolfsburg as a footnote then deleted because there was so little to say and I don't know anything about his time there. I don't know what he was trying to do or how he was trying to do it. I know more about Rafa at Inter.

The problem is, is that Rafa need to be a fergie style dictator in the club he managesm he needs the last word on everything from the players being signed to the brand of sugar the tea lady uses but masny clubs do not trust a manager to that capacity nowadays as Money is king and in a club like Villa they just dont have it. If they were to give trust in to Rafa and give him time it will bear fruit. he can work with a limited budget, he can work with limited players (he won a champions league with a side containing Dimi Traore, Harry Kewell & Igor Biscan FFS). If a club can give Benitez the power and the trust then no amount of money will make him want to leave. he proved as much when Real Madrid were sniffing around him when he was Liverpool boss
