Pelligrini is City's man, Benitez has only shortened in the betting as he's said he'd like to stay in the PL, there's no chance he'll get that gig.
True that, imagine the reception a former city great would get from the classes CM playing mancs if they got the OT job
It all remains to be seen, although I dont dont agree anything can happen at this point. I just hope you aren't making a HIAG gaffe
Barring a last minute twist it's nailed on imo. City wouldn't have sacked Mankini, without a plan in place as to his replacement.
the plan was probably in place since the middle of last season too. Mancini has looked replaceable for a lot of the season. Who it is though.. ?
I think it is a more a reflection of how much a favourite Manuel Pellegrini is Or did you mean BR's odd's were a bit short?
I meant it's ****ing ridiculous he's even IN the betting. He's already got a major project to deal with and a group to evolve
Oddly enough this isn't new, BR has been mentioned even before Pellegrini to take over from Mancini, remember a few articles a couple months back. Bizarre
Yeah, Tom Hicks kept pouring the moolah in and Rafa kept spending billions on freebies like Jovanovic, even though he didn't have to. Plus, he bought Lucas and what a waste of cash that was. right? Sheesh, those myths have been long-buried, you necrophiliac.
1. i think pelligrini commented on the city job so i think its a done deal..... if he'd said nothing before the FA cup or whatever then fine but i think since he commented and who is DoF it looks like this is done deal. 2. City need lots of good players in this summer. their midfield is terrible. barry??? come on! 3. mourinho is going to chelsea... 4. never bet on a manager's job without real inside info.
We need a couple of players rather than lots What we really need is a manager who can get them fighting for the shirt and stop being an easy touch whenever we play a team that fancy a battle Not looked like winning at Anfield Goodison Sunderland etc for a while
Well i only judge you by bayern munich. By that lofty standard only silva aguero, yaya and kompany stand up. harts been terrbile this year compared to the highest standard expected. I'd suggest you are off looking for champions leagues and in that context barry, milner and the likes of zabaletta, clichy and even tevez aint up to it. That my opinion against the very top. To beat utd next year 2 would do i suppose If pellignrini can get a side who's sold players and not paid the rest to play for him to minutes from glory v dortmund... well i think he can make a side out of city. If he can stop yaya stopping playing whenever someone kicks an ankle early that would be good.
That's what happens when you spend a billion pound on over rated mercenaries No passion in the squad. Also to MITO, I think Barry's actually been quite good for them. Doesn't excel at anything, but just sits in the middle and works hard so that the players infront of him and walk around the pitch (Yaya) and not give a ****. He's their version of Carrick, but a bit better defensively and not as good with forward passing.
Fair enough in setting Bayern as the standard but do you seriously think Man City should be looking to buy a keeper to replace Hart? Zabaletta is arguably one of their best players IMO too.
