Been listening to 5 live most of the day, until Kermode and Mayo came on. Is is just me or do they get right on anyone else's tits? If you wanted an example of folk who like the sound of their own voice, this is it.

Listen to the radio when driving and increasingly find myself changing channels from R4 to 5 then to 6 music then back gain. Then when I get fed up of all three I listen to Iggy.

And I agree they do grate although I can't help but like like Mark Kermode for some reason.

I haven't listened to the radio since Moyles was doing breakfast on Radio 1. Not that he's the benchmark, it's just the last thing I remember being on. I've had the same CD on in the van for nearly a year now. If anyone cares*, it's this one.

* Not you, Castro.

That explains a lot if you listen constantly to that.

It used to be alright a few years ago, but all this wittertainment bullshit is for nob-heads, pricks and bell-ends; as are all of the other in-jokes.

However, I do actually like hearing Kermode's opinion on new films. His little slot on BBC News is better.

I don't doubt their knowledge and experience, I just wish they wouldn't bang on so much!
