I have heard after every home game how away fans return home telling friends and family how wonderful Burton Constable is.

 

Who cares? I grew up in South Cave, lived in Beverley and currently live in Cottingham. When somebody asks where I'm from, I just say Hull. People know where it is. They aren't going to know where the hell South Cave is. It's just easier.

Anybody not from the East Riding or Hull that doesn't watch the Antiques Roadshow isn't going to know where Burton Constable is, so they're just going to say it's Hull. Makes total sense.

We are generous. We allow Hull to use our space for the big events they can't handle. Allow them to escape their grim surroundings, breathe fresh air, relax on our beaches and, having had a taste of civilised living return to their mundane lives.
