Swansea officials did brilliantly to check the security videos immediately and allow the police to apprehend the guilty party (as Chris Hughton gave credit for after the match). I would be very pleased if Carrow Road officials acted as quickly. And yes, it was a great match between two teams that will grace the PL now and in the years to come. What a fightback against the odds, Swansea! Let the cordial relations continue! If Swansea fans did feel there was provocation by Norwich players, then as one of your own suggested above, a two-fingered salute would serve nicely and I doubt anyone would object to that. A racist gesture has no place in football or anywhere else, IMO!

To prove how racially charged things are these days our very own "you jack bastard" has been thought to be racist be opposition fans !! people can get things wrong y'know, and thats what makes this a bit uncomfortable for me. As the Norwich lad said, people always having a go at Holt for his weight so it stands to reason that the most logical thing that bloke was doing was indeed a fat man impression of holt that was misconstrued by bassong as a racist gesture!! Nobody has confirmed it was a racist gesture targeted at bassong, the guy who did it has been released on bail,while further investigation takes place so not quite as cut and dried as some are making out.

He has been arrested for an alleged racial incident but as of yet its unproven and there is further investigation on going.So basically nobody yet knows and the police if proven wrong will probably end up getting sued for defamation of charecter and wrongfull arrest! it really is a minefield isnt it .
