Right then! Here's a wee story about racism and how it's affected your friendly neighbourhood favourite Scotsman.
My next door neighbours in the house I used to stay in were a polish couple and their two kids. The man of the house was an utter cùnt who used his missus as a punch bag. Every weekend he would get pushed and punch **** out of her. Tbf she was a fruit loop as well.
One day when I was at work their boy, who was mibbe about 20 came to our door and gave my missus dogs abuse. Threatening all sorts. Really upsetting her. Then the woman came to the door upset and apologising. My missus invited her in and while she was making the Polish bint a cup of coffee the woman went into my missus bag and stole her purse. Luckily my wife noticed it gone and phoned my step son to come and help before said Polish bint had a chance to leave the house. The cùnt had her purse up her jumper.
Anyhoo the police were called and they charged the mad Pole. Well they said they did but we never heard anything else about it. The police came back into our house to tell us what was going on and told us that there was not one bit of food in the womens cupboards and she hadn't ate for two days because her man wouldn't give her any money.
Big racist Aldo went to the local shop and filled two bags of shopping and handed it in to her that very day. Even went to the back door so not embarrasse her.
Fast forward a few months and the fruitloops were at again. At the time I had four dogs. A german shepherd, a Northern Inuit and two massive Malamutes. The Poles next door phoned the police and told them that my dogs packed and attacked their dog. A Yorkshire terrier! A Yorkshire terrier that didn't have a mark on it.
The police came and told them that there would be no action taken against me or my dogs as there was no evidence of any attack. So they claimed I racially abused them. Because the woman and the son backed each other up I had to go to court. It cost me over 1000 pounds to fight these outrageous claims that were eventually laughed out of court. The sheriff actually said he couldn't believe the procurator fiscal had took the case so far.
I did however get fined 100 quid for seperate charge a few months later when I knocked the Dad the fùck out when he decided he was gonne have a go at a cùnt who wasn't female and would hit him back.
Does all this make me hate Polish people, nah! Cùnts are cùnts. Geography is incidental.

I was trying to think what happened in 2001 to cause a spike in racism, but then remembered that was the year of 9/11. Then 2017 saw a string of major terror attacks on the mainland.
When we played Olympiakos there were some greek fans in with the Spurs fans. When they scored the fans went wild celebrating and a bloke behind me was screaming "**** off you greek ****s" at the top of his voice. T
When I turned round to tell him to chill the **** out I saw he was older than me ffs (I am 52
) ... I told him to leave it out but he continued so I told him to wind his ****ing neck in cos me and my daughter hadn't psid to hear his racist filth. He tried to excuse his **** but I told him to chill and turned away. No one bscked him up and he looked embarrassed.
He dissppeared a few minutes later and didn't return.
If I had been there today and something like that happened I would not have said anything as my back is ****ed and I would not be able to look after myself or my daughter.
I mention this cos it is an example of how expecting other fans to police things ain't always so clear cut. Racism at games was worse when I was a kid but it's definitely on the increase now.
I don't have an answer beyond life bans for those proved guilty.
On one hand I wanna just call them thick ****s...giving out racist abuse to a black player when we have Ndombele, Rose, Aurier, Sissoko, Sessegnon, Sanchez, Moura and Son etc in the team...but it is more than a few thick ****s.
Clubs take it seriously and have reporting lines for match days, they ban fans etc so I am not sure sbout closing grounds but maybe that's the next step.

I;m not gonna defend them, but our's are isolated incidents, the days off the pack hounds seem to have gone.
This problem has to stamped out NOW, we hear. why now, why not years ago?

No mate. She was actually a peculiar colour. She was was silver. She was one of the pups of my old dogs first litter. Her mother was an archetypal German shepherd. She was the runt of the litter and was actually born dead. I sat up with her all night when she was born to make sure she was ok. That's why we kept her.
She was a great dog and died a couple of months ago aged 15.
I'd love a German shepherd, but it's impossible for me. At least Germans are not racists

One of my mate’s when I was a kid had a neighbour like that. Every Sunday he’d be off down the pub at lunchtime., come home rat arsed, knock **** out of his old woman and aim his lunch straight up the back garden.
We thought it was fun to race to the back window just in time to hear him yelling “What’s this ****in’ ****” and the plate come flying out the back door.
Why she stayed with the ****, no idea.
