    Sky, the simple answer to your original question is, NO, RACISM IS NOT ACCEPTABLE ON N0T606 - ON ANY OF THE BOARDS. It should never be.

    We even have problems when we try and discuss issues associated with it eg Evra/Suarez, Terry/Ferdinand. I find it sad that I have had to sift through 3 ****ing pages of absolute crap abot GC (see I can swear as well -perhaps I should join GC?) to be able to post the simple truth above.

    It's not just a question of moderation but also self-moderation. To a great degree the Scoucers amongst us on this board already do that when it comes to say sectarianism/ the Ireland issue. We may come from different traditions but we unite around football and are even very careful when we make jokes about it with each other. Sure, it can get a bit fractious with the mancs sometimes but we generally sort it out and even have friends from their board.

    We all know that potentially devisive issues like racism exist but we don't have to bring it into 'our house'.

    Anuyone ever watch Eddie Murphy Raw or Delerious, slags the fk out of whitey and its fkn hilarious, or it was back then.

    I think it may be time we seperate slaggin off and joking from real racism. Every race has its stereotypes yet it is only offensive to non whites it seems?

    A joke is one thing, living your life that way is another, I have been calling Drogba things I couldn't say on here when watching the footy on my own on telly. Am I a racist, no, unless Drogba is a race. There's only one race, the human race. The sooner the racist ignorant numpties get that into their thick heads the better for us all

    c'mon dude, I was pointing out that it is all rather pointless.. Getting worked up over words, the example of Untermench, means nothing here, but say it in Krakow or Kiev to someone and they may not like it. It wasn't offensive in Nazi Germany it was coined there and commonly used by the party.

    Of this I am well aware. There were a few other ethnicities living there at the time, other than blond-haired, blue-eyed aryans, who the term was used to describe. Do you not think that if i used the word, I know what it means and who it was used to describe. There was an intended touch of irony involved.
