Racism on Not606.

I do as do others on occasion.

At times theres some funny stuff on there but just lately theres a few idiots running wild on there.

 

Well take it to a non sporting matter forum, as I said it gives the whole site a bad name.

 

But it is a thread pointless or not. And the GC can be discussed. Some on here may want to use the GC.

 

Yeah I agree at times it can be quite funny, and I have been on there. It's just people are abusing the boundaries. I'm all for the banter, but racism should be zero tolerance.

The site has been going since January 2010, and General Chat has always been the most popular aspect. It's pathetic that people are saying it's 'going downhill' when you look at what was going on before everyone from the BBC 606 came here. If you don't like it, don't use it. It's no problem for you, and as for 'giving the site a bad name'? Who the **** do you think you are!?

Everything so far thats had negative effects on the site has been either moved or removed. The chatbox was a good example as though it was funny at the time it was causing people not to stay long on the site aswell as users not to post in the forums.

Hes also after ages started to try and remove the sectarian crap off GC in recent weeks.

This isn't a forum solely designed for sports dicussion. Mick himself has said that many of the site's hits come from Google visitors who find discussion of current issues via GC and club boards. That's probably a significant member stream for the site.

 

As I said, there is nothing wrong with a bit of banter, but recently people have been going too far.

 

I'm not looking for it to suit me, I rarely use the GC. The GC is not just for the people who use it on a regular basis it should be for everyone. Change is sometimes needed and the GC maybe getting to that point as the site has grown.

Maybe not but people shouldn't be shot down for suggesting change.

I used to post there, but it got extremely tedious and not very funny. Its basically cretins posting the most cretinous things they could think of.

 

I agree that certain stuff is, shall we say, walking the fine line between what most would consider 'right' and 'wrong'. But I don't see why muppets like addzlfc, who I doubt has ever even posted on General Chat, have to put forward their two-penneth about how those of us who do use it give the site a bad name.

I find it funny that people think swearing at and calling each other names is somehow "adult".
