Racism in football?

    That is spot on, everyone should have a fair chance.

    However, I don't think you realise the change in perception this would have in the minorities to think about progressing after retirement.

    But the argument is because people are racist. I don't think that is necessarily the case.

    Ask yourself the question, why do black footballers not see management as a possible future?

    It may not be blanket racism, but there must be a perception from both sides that its just not what they do. For that there is a reason, its not chance.

    I guess much of this is down to role models? I am just saying I don't believe it is due to racism in most cases. Also I feel they must look to getting the ethnic minority coaches well trained. I imagine there are far more white coaches trained to a high standard. Im sure there are a variety of reasons. Maybe some don't feel they will get a chance, lack or role models or it costs too much?

    There are of course many other groups who should be given equal opportunities, disabled, different religions, different sex etc. It should cover all forms of discrimination. It has and is made out to be just about ethnic minorities, that is where I think they have the rule wrong.
