As for the Tanks, it's news to me that an Irishman invented it, however John Logie Baird was credited with inventing TV - which he did not, and England inventing Football - which they did not, reading the article it appears that an Irishman came up with a now defunct prototype of the tank. I don't think he invented tanks per se. Did it not say that Churchill gave him a suggestion and that he implemented it? Leonardo Da Vinci came up with this too and throughout history armies have used machines which could be construed as having a direct bloodline to the modern AFV. please log in to view this image

How would the SSN story 'just so happen' to appear 15 minutes before Rangers posted their results? If you're not heavily implying that there was some sort of coordination between the two events, then I've no idea what the point of your post was.
So it was coincidence? Murray has previous for manipulation of the Media, is he now to be ruled out completely in this case and if so why? If not Murray then it certainly would appear to a casual observer that someone or something prompted Sky into running the story....again. Maybe not Minty but someone with an interest.
