No punchline mate, I just know a few on here haunt the place
.
Awaiting punchline from others, dozy git. Before you reach for your ninja sticks, there's nothing I've ever said on here that I wouldn't say to someone's face. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Haunt the place? Grace it with our presence more like. The average age and the IQ of the clientele are both higher on match days.

Possible Fixtures:
16th August 1500 Scarborough A vs Fylde (City at home vs Oxford Sunday 17th 1500)
30th August 1500 Scarborough A vs Southport FC (City away vs Bristol City same time) Not ideal
2nd September 1945 Scarborough A vs Buxton International Break
11th October 1500 Scarborough A vs Leamington International Break

I won't go further at the moment as Sky are bound to change things
I’d love to go and see Brid in the early weeks of the 16th century. Last weeks of World War Two, less so.

I can attest to that. You told me what an all round good looking, erudite intellectual I was face to face when we met.

Actually you didn't know who I was but I guessed who you were, you and your grandson sat down and I said 'someone's sitting there', you moved to other seats and I said 'someones sitting in them too', both were empty, then I told you who I was. :emoticon-0138-think

No. Grandson looked at you. I sat down in the first one I got to. Didn’t take long to twig who you were. Grandson really enjoyed that day. Had problems with getting drinks in pubs in Brid at 16 but was most impressed that I got him a drink in and he hadn’t even started it when you got him a pint. His notions that old fogeys sat around sipping halves of beer were disabused within one hour.<laugh>

My only real memory of Brid when I was about 7 years old. We'd just parked and were walking towards the front, but not quite in it. A group of about 7/8 guys maybe around 40 years old were walking towards us. There were a couple of police horses and one just pooped. One of the guys walked into the middle of the street, took off his flat cap, scooped the poop and then put it on his head. True story.

It was recently that i caught up with, Ric. We spoke of Filey Tiger, as i had no idea of his sad demise. We swapped posts ranging from comical to arsey. Eventually we got to speak and look at our input on here differently. Filey grew into a senior, interesting and, more than anything, much loved board member. Some of us disappear without a sigh. Not Filey. He was my first look up when revisiting this site. Truly a one off respected and missed. RIP lad. X
