Someone should have done about the name change or Allam meeting the council or chairing a meeting with the supporters.

Rather interesting that the recent deaths of Karl Largerfeld, fashion icon, and Wallace Smith Broecker, global warming climatologist researcher, both passed away recently, just as the detrimental impact of the fashion industry's mammoth clothing production techniques are being seen to have a significant impact on global pollution and man-made global warming. Some are saying the impact is as large as "big oil's".
It’s the wrong thread for a lengthy debate, but if you can get the BBC iPlayer there was a shocking documentary over Christmas that I think is still on there - Fashion’s Dirty Secrets, presented by Stacey Dooley. Depressing.
I watched the show thanks. Depressing indeed. The age old hunt for the almighty dollar disguises a lot of abuse. You're right - wrong thread.
Interesting he got the Monkees gig because Stephen Stills auditioned but it they thought he wouldn't look right on TV. They asked him if he knew anyone he would recommend and he suggested Peter Tork. How things could have turned out differently for both of them.
Makes you think. Fortunately the Lovin' Spoonful turned it down when they were offered it otherwise one of my favourite bands wouldn't have come about.

Same here - well, the TV series at least. Seemed to be on a lot on mornings of school holidays, alongside Huckleberry Finn and the Pink Panther (cartoon version).
And, one of their big hits, Pleasant Valley Sunday, was written by the legendary Carole King. RIP Peter Tork.
