    I don't agree at all, the whole "We're not Bayern" type excuse is a cop out that keeps Scottish fitba years behind the rest.

    How can you play counter-attacking football on the ground when the pitch is in bits? You play the balls over the top for Ciftci to deal with and then bring the wingers and attacking midfielders into play.

    Griffiths is brilliant for the SPFL but his style of poaching on the cusp of offside is bread and butter to European defenders.

    A prime example of the Scottish media printing outdated, ill-thought-out pish about fitba.

    The BBC have trotted McDonald to talk about Ciftci - "With him not being able to play league football, I don't think he has played enough games."

    We've had one league game so Griffiths has played one game more and hobbled off injured in it. <doh>

    <steam>

    I forgot about the state of the pitch.

    I hope we lose 2-1, Ciftci starts and plays ****e, and then The Thumb comes on and scores the away goal that sees us through, thus meaning we win AND i can come on here tomorrow and go "ah told ye so".

    I'd start with both of them. Put Joe Hanson out wide and play Ciftci in the #10 role. Forrest and Armstrong were pure pish the last two games anyway so they can be benched.

    Still playing a 4-2-3-1 that way and I thought Griffiths and Ciftci linked up well when they played together against Stjarnan.

    I think he's the type to be able to run onto long balls etc when we will be playing on the counter!

    And he's the better finisher.

    Ref is giving no ****s, good to see.

    Struggling to see the point of Nadir Ciftis existence, what ***** allowed him to take the number 7.

    Ive seen 9yo's with more positional awareness than Boyata.
