How about a deano goal? Hardly obscure but i recall a belter volley for bradford v Liverpool.... Could of been before the suggested date though
 
He was from our prem days but he barely played and then left by mutual consent (I think).

Edit to add: He played in the game where Glen Johnson scored goal of the season but wasn't on the pitch at the time.
