I've already said why this is incredibly selective use of stats that doesn't take into account the population %, doesn't take into account the numerous 'armed with a deadly weapon' technicalities that would have applied in the many scenarios I outlined that still are cops getting away with literal murder. So no, it doesn't blow anything out of the water. It highlights the exact institutions that propagate racism to uneducated folks in America who take those statistics at face value, when they're actually proof of the exact opposite. But there are ways and means of challenging those views. Lots of the ways that those views have been 'challenged' by agitators desperate to be seen as being in the right (as many other causes have been- see the response to J K Rowling last week re. 'people who menstruate') has alienated a lot of people. These people don't seem to realise that they actually do more harm than good- accusing people of racism, transphobia, etc etc because they don't use the right words or still like Churchill is no way to win hearts and minds.
Because I have no idea why you would think what I said was racist in any way. I explained why I was not there yesterday and illustrated that I would be out there in the reverse situation too, applying the exact same principles. You said that was racist, which is why you get short shrift from me, because I haven't accused anyone of that in here no matter what they've said.
That's fine, but I maintain that they don't represent the people I know who also feel strongly about this. How are the trans rights people linked to the BLM protests? Often it seems like people assume they are, but I don't think the majority of people in the BLM protests were doing so for trans rights. And I've agreed with you on churchill, I don't know what more to say I agree it causes some damage when people equate it with mindless vandalism too. None of it means there aren't real issues to address, no matter how people try to excuse or deny they even exist as has happened multiple times today.
I agree with the last part very much. I feel very strongly that in any debate of this type that all aspects of the story should be clearly explained and a full and balanced explanation of all of the facts should be provided. I've got a real problem with people not having an accurate view of the facts, which leads back to some of the points I've been trying to make in some of my other posts.

You jumped on my comment, posted innacurate nonsense and implied racism where there was none. Therefore it has everything to do with me ... ... a decent person would accept that and apologise. I doubt you will even acknowledge your error because you're gutless and shallow.
I'm not saying that there aren't real issues to address. What I am saying is that there is a definite mindset that exists among some people who are determined to take a very extreme view of any of these issues. These people do more harm than good because they tell people with more moderate views, who would otherwise be in support of whatever the cause is, that they are in the wrong.

I clearly said it was wrong. You don't need to be fair, I didn't say it or imply it. I've never made any reference to being a victim, I'm not and never will be.
