Racist Chris see my other post documenting the fact I do go to games.

But not everyone spends £20-£30 in the pub you know.

My local has the games on and many people will watch the match with 2 or 3 pints, effectively spending 5 or 6 quid to watch the game. You do the math!

Quinn points his finger at those who spend more at the pub, than the price of a ticket. I thought that was quite clear in his statement.

Do you not think it's just a sign of the times?
We at man city have the best team in my lifetime yet we rarely fill the ground, man utd have season tickets on open sale and now advertise to sell match tickets to try and sell out which is unheard of,Liverpool don't sell out anymore,Celtic and rangers can't sell out either
Surely if the clubs offered a kid for a quid with any adult ticket they would recoup the revenue via the club shop and catering as it usually costs at least a tenner when you have a kid with you.Benefits are that no one minds kids getting cheap tickets, you are getting the next generation of supporters in early and you are boosting revenue which wouldn't otherwise be there. They did it at city once last season for a Europa game and they were queuing around the ground to get tickets and instead of the usual 30000 for a Europa game we sold out.
