I feel much better after NQ's statement, just shows how lucky we are to have Quinny and that the only thing he could do was to get the best deal for the club. Also good to here Brucey will have a transfer kitty in January but if the winless run continues then I can see that kitty being given to someone else, in the mean time though I am behind the manager and the team but it is up to them to show us on the pitch, C'mon lads lets beat Stoke!
The only thing that is niggling away is its ok to have the money but if we cant attract the players in january then this could be a season without a main striker of our own. Maybe im just a bit gloomy at the minute.
I believe the doom and gloom attitude amongst many of our supporters, which is worryingly becoming the norm of late, is perhaps one of the reasons why players don't want to come here...Our national reputation is ****e at the moment and for good reason..Even when we win half the crowd can't be arsed to stop to the end to cheer them off, so it's not surprising that when we lose a couple of games some people are going on as if it's the end of the world...
Nice statement, but has to be spoiled with the mandatory spin. Steve and Asa on good terms! Can you imagine the conversation - "sorry I went off message and told the truth about you in front of X million people on Saturday. Didn't mean it me old mate. Can't wait to see you again. Missing you already." What a load of ****ing bollocks!
You won't believe it Pouch but some people are calling for Quinn to quit over this, utter madness. The big man has got the best deal possible for the club, should really have had it done a few weeks ago mind but must have thought he would setle down with the window closing.
Where's BBP and his calls for Quinn out? Top chairman, so well done to him. Gyan's still a twat but he's a footballer so expect nothing else, so sod him, But personally i'm glad he's gone,
