There's also a difference between making a 50:50 covering tackle in front of goal, and lunging into someone with the ball at his feet on the touchline. Both tackles deserved red cards, and yet only one of them got a red card... Still, at least it's only Evans, and we have the international break to get Vidic back to fitness for the run in.
