Just seen that somebody on facebook was saying that the club were selling tickets at 9 pm. This is despite the club saying they would stop sales at 8 pm and allow phone and in person sales from 8 am Friday. Given all the accusations of abuse I would have thought that allowing online sales would have limited the potential of abuse.
If they'd have shut at 8 I'd been well gutted having missed about by a few minutes - so for me I'm pleased. Hopefully others will get sorted in the morning. Definately an improvement for all on we'll sell out today.
At the time him and Davies were first choice in our defence weren't they? IIRC Chester was playing his first game since Newcastle and Davies and McShane were first choice at centre half, and had been for some time.
Thankfully, I received a text from a mate tonight, saying he had secured me two corporates - might be a bit sterile, but I'll be there - with the missus who has never been to such a game before, but has supported me and my teams through thick and thin; wouldn't mind a tenner for every strip she's washed! Happy days and two more for others.
still a few left for tomorrow from 8am , be early first come first served , telephone and in person. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/article/201314-fa-cup-final-ticket-update-1522411.aspx
Look at the dates. Either you haven't got a clue or you are arguing for the sake of it. Probably both.
So, he's gone from being behind 'several' defenders to being to third best CB at the club (by your posting)...
Is that what I said? I suggest you read what I said again. At no time did I rank McShane amongst all defenders. I simply pointed out that he was behind two centre backs. There is no need to bring other defenders into it. His place has always been dependent on injuries to other players practically every time this season.
When McShane is fit I would suggest he would also be behind Bruce for a centre back position. I would also expect he's behind Elmo and Rosenior at full back. That's five I think he's behind ... not two or any other such nonsense people spout.
Chester and Davies, that's it. The way he has played these last couple of seasons he might be level with Chester. Also, to even consider him a fullback, and therefor put him behind Elmo (who is NOT a fullback) and Rosey, despite the fact he has (wrongly) played there, is stupid.
Use your impeccable logic () to read back and understand that the team selection was all about timing and the fitness, game-time and opposition strengths and weaknesses. You are trying to argue a general point by responding to specifics; give it up, it's daft.
When we were playing in the Premier League in 2008-2009 he played all his games at full back (maybe this was before you supported the club). He wanted to be a central defender but when he was played there he was a disaster and it resulted in him going out on loan and considering his future in the game. He's played full back for the club quite recently. Elmo has also played as full back quite often even this season.
My general point is that I believe the club shouldn't say: "It's the FA Cup, let's put out a weakened team". That's different to saying: "We only have so many players available to play so many games so we should rotate and give a few players a rest every now and again." I dont consider that daft at all.
