My husband went yesterday, and it took him 4 hours, the ticket office are doing a great job as they should have closed at 5pm I think (Sunday) but stayed open until 8. We are block 509 and now we actually have the tickets Iam so so excited, win or lose I am going to enjoy it. Incidentally my husband also went today around midday with another season card to pick up a ticket for someone (who went to the semi so above board) and there was no queue.
From my own experience of queuing Sunday, we turned up at 6.55 and it seems as though a lot of people arrived between 6.30 and 7.30. An early start but still a reasonable time in bed. If we had arrived an hour earlier I reckon we would have saved two hours in the queue. If I was personally going Thursday I would get there around 4.30 - 5.00, but best of luck!
You've got me worried now. I did 7hrs on Sunday for my ticket & going back Thursday for my husbands +1 ticket but sounds like it could be worse than Sunday
Don't do queuing just sat on the phone this morning and only waited for 10 mins to get through and got perfect seats in Block 110 so to all who stupidly queued for hours on end WHAT MUGS should have stayed at home and put your feet up!!!
Being a west stander I have one if you need a lend. I can also supply a flask and tartan blanket if needed.
If you're not too concerned where you sit and only want two or three, perhaps. If you want a bus load that all sit together and don't want someone shushing and sitting them, queing was the only real option.
That's why we queued. We wanted eleven together in a specific area, if we only wanted two or three we would have waited until today. Most people yesterday were getting 10-20 tickets.
So who joined the queue around 6:45am - 7am yesterday? Intrigued to know who else was near me if any.
Not sure if this has been mentioned but concession passes can be used to buy normal adult final tickets.
I was. Now not going. Lost flight money but not bothered. Some things are more important. Plus can go to the same place with the same people again next year. How often can I say I am going to the FA cup final?
That's ok but you have to drink your tea with your little finger in the air as well. It's what we all do in the west.
